Matryoshka

Matryoshka (마트료시카)는 도쿄에서 활동하는 포스트락/IDM 계열의 일본 2인조 유닛으로 영상아트물과 인디영화 사운드트랙 등을 제작해온 Sen과 보컬리스트 Calu가 2006년 만나 결성한 팀이다. 세계적인 포스트락 밴드 Sigur Ros, Mum를 방불케 하는 장대한 오케스트라와 무기질의 일렉트로닉 사운드로 신인임에도 불구하고 또한 일본에서는 보기 드문 스타일임에도 불구하고 데뷔작 [Zatracenie]이 이례적인 판매고를 기록하면서 주목받게 된다. 이와 같은 명성은 차기 리믹스앨범 [Cocutura]으로 이어져 세계적인 명성의 Goldmund (a.k.a Helios)를 비롯해 국내에서도 잘 알려진 일본 포스트락밴드 World's End Girlfriend, Tujiko Noriko, Riow Arai 등이 참여하면서 많은 화제를 모았다. .... ....
