The Transistors

The Transistors(트랜지스터즈)는 이탈리아 로마 출신의 3인조 라운지/일렉트로닉 프로젝트로 1995년 사운드 디자이너이자 실험적인 음악을 해온 베테랑 뮤지션 Maurizio "ErMan" Mansueti(어만)의 구상에 의해 결성된 팀으로 이후 뮤지션 출신으로 영화 및 음악 저널리스트, 포토그래퍼, 배우 등 다양한 분야에서 활약했던 Luca "Luke" Cirillo와 독특한 보이스칼라로 이탈리아 보컬리스트의 아이콘으로 떠오른 Miss Ari가 합류해 앙상블을 이루었다. 1996년 데모 [Swinging Italy]을 시작으로 활동한 이들은 2000년 처음으로 칵테일/라운지 스타일의 싱글 [Mission on Venus]과 2002년 어반 팝 뮤직 스타일의 첫 번재 정규작 [Atelier]을 발표한다. 이외에도 Kid Loco 등과의 콜라보레이션, Stereolab, Thievery Corporation, Nicola Conte, Groove Armada등과 함께 수많은 이탈리아 컴필레이션에서 등장하며 음악적 명성을 쌓아간다. .... ....
