Diplomats Of Solid Sound (디프로매츠 오브 솔리드 사운드)는 미국 아이오와 출신의 훵크/소울 밴드로 1998년 기타리스트 Doug Roberson를 주축으로 하몬드 오르간 주자 Nate Basinger, 드럼/퍼커션의 Paul Kresowik, 바리톤/알토 색소폰 주자 David Basinger, 테너 색소폰 주자 Eddie McKinley, 여성 보컬리스트 Sarah Cram, Kathy Ruestow 등 총 여섯명으로 구성되어 있다. 2001년 7인치 싱글 [Bullfrog Boogaloo]를 시작으로 활동해온 이들은 풍성하고 매력적인 라이브로 알려지기 시작해 북미 대륙뿐 만 아니라 Sharon Jones, Robert Walter, Wilco, The New Mastersounds, The James Taylor Quartet 와 함께 이탈리아, 영국, 프랑스, 스페인 등 유럽 각지를 돌며 라이브 무대를 선사해왔다. .... ....
