뚜렷한 (Lucid)
누구도 감히 입에 올리지 않을 일을 했었다 누구도 감히 말하지 않을 것들을 많이 써봤다 전에는 거의 없었지만 지금은 우리 같은 이들이 더 많아진다 우리는 제정신이었고 한 군데 머물지 않았다 우리는 정상이었고 시간이 없었다
이 사운드는 한마디로 자극적이다. 하지만 온갖 향신료로 맛을 낸 육류 음식이 아니라 씹으면 씹을수록 풍부한 맛이 입안을 채우는 해산물 요리 같다. 팝과 일렉트로니카, 포크와 록의 어떤 경계에 서 있는 마그넷(Magnet)의 2007년 앨범 [The Simple Life]는 북극해로부터 한국 음악팬들에게 특급으로 날아온 코스요리다.
마그넷은 에번 요한센(Even Johansen)의 1인 프로젝트다. 노르웨이 서해안에 인접한 도시 베르겐에서 태어나고 자란 그는, 킹스 오브 컨비니언스(Kings Of Convenience), 손드르 레르케(Sondre Lerche), 로익솝(Royksopp)과 마찬가지로 (우리가 알고 있는 대부분의 노르웨이 출신 음악가들처럼) 베르겐에서 활동하는 음악가다. 스윙 재즈 댄스...
