The “Quartet &” selects and studies composers who have an important place in the history of music to expand its repertoire. This project was named "Composer Series" and Schumann's String Quartet No. 2 was selected as the beginning of the project. This is because Schumann's music resembles the music pursued by Quartet &. Schumann says that “to recall the past and its music with all the energy at our disposal, to draw attention to the ways in which new artistic beauties can find sustenance at a source so pure, finally to prepare for and help expedite the advent of a new poetic age.” There is no better composer than Schumann to express Quartet &'s idea of adding musical depth through the expansion of repertoire. ....
