'Erin Lee'는 12년간 캐나다, 미국, 스페인에 살면서 잡다한 것을 배웠다. 버클리 음대에 들어가 음악을 공부했지만, 뮤직 비즈니스에 흥미를 느껴 아티스트의 길을 비켜난다. 음악보다 글쓰기와 여행에 빠져 지낸 적도 있다. 스페인 순례길 800km를 혼자 걷고, 영하 40도의 그린란드에 가서 개썰매를 탔다. 먼 길을 돌아 다시 음악의 길에서 새로운 발걸음을 내디딘다. 그녀의 첫 싱글 앨범에는 한국 고유의 정서가 멜로디와 노랫말에 담겨 있다. 마치 조선시대 어느 연인의 애틋한 이별 장면을 떠오르게 한다. 오랜 기간 물리적으로 한국과 떨어져 지냈으나, 그녀의 정체성(identity)이 자연스레 음악에 묻어나온 것이다. 따라서 이 앨범은 그녀의 기원(origin)이다.

Erin Lee, a native Korean, wandered for 12 years in Canada, USA, and Spain. She studied voice, but she had more interests in music business. Later, she showed talent in writing and thriving on various adventures - she completed the Spanish pilgrimage, El Camino de Santiago, by walking 500 miles alone. She even traveled Greenland by herself when the temperature hit -40 degrees. After all these years, she finally returned home, music. The melody and the lyrics of this album present the Korean traditional sentiment. Although she was physically distant from her native land for a long time, her music naturally reveals her identity. Hence, this album is her origin.
