INTRODUCTION 패트릭 갈루아와 호흡을 맞춘 음반이지만, 단연 이 음반의 하아라이트는 외르크 데무스가 연주한 <방랑자 환상곡>이다. 폴리니, 리히테르의 초인적인 명연이 굳건히 자리를 잡고 있지만, 과연 이 작품에 그런 초인적인 힘만이 대세인가라는 의문을 던지는 지극히 섬세하고 빠르고 강력한 호소력을 지닌 연주이다. 빈 피아니즘의 적자인 데무스에게 슈베르트의 작품은 쉬워 보인다. 선율, 리듬, 스피드, 힘 모두에 있어 <방랑자 환상곡>의 정서를 정확히 꿰뚫고 있으며, 서정성과 파괴력의 조화는 눈부실 만큼 화려하게 전 곡을 수놓는다. .... ....
