두 팀의 인연은 태국–한국 밴드 신의 활발한 교류 속에서 자연스럽게 이어졌고,
서로의 음악을 꾸준히 주목해오던 KIK과 Dept는 각자의 색을 교차시키며
“서로에게 건네는 작은 평화”를 이번 싱글의 메시지로 삼았다.

‘piece of peace’는 몽글한 드림팝의 질감과 따뜻한 팝록의 에너지를 조화롭게 담은 곡으로,
복잡한 일상 속에서 잠시 숨을 고르고 서로에게 기대어 쉴 수 있는 작은 평화의 순간을 전한다.

서로 다른 개성을 지닌 세 멤버가 만들어내는 KIK의 다채로운 사운드.
태국 밴드씬을 대표하는 거물 밴드 Dept의 따뜻한 감성.
이 둘이 만난 이번 협업은 국가와 장르를 넘어선 연대와 희망의 상징이기도 하다.

The connection between KIK and Dept formed naturally through the active exchange within Thai–Korean band scene, and as both groups continued to follow each other’s work, they shaped “a small piece of peace we offer to one another” as the core message of this single.

“piece of peace” blends the hazy textures of dream pop with the warm energy of pop-rock, offering a brief moment of rest—
a small piece of peace to lean on amid the rush of everyday life.

The vibrant sound crafted by the three uniquely distinct members of KIK,
and the warm emotional tone of Dept—one of the most influential bands in the Thai scene—
come together in this collaboration, creating a quiet symbol of unity and hope that transcends borders and genres.
