무서움이란 감정은 "모름"에서 온다고 믿는다. 죽음이 두려운 이유도 사후 세계에 대한 의문점은 풀리지 않기 때문일 것이다. 반대로 말하자면 사람들은 무언가를 잘 알고있다는 생각에 안정감을 느끼고, 알고있던 것이 아니거나 틀렸을 때 당황하고 감정의 폭이 흔들린다. 호환마마라는 것도 그런 것이었을 것이다. 산에 사는 호랑이나 전염성 강한 천연두는 당시 공포의 대상이었고, "호환마마보다 두렵다"라는 문장만 보아도 호환과 마마는 두려움의 기준이었다. 이처럼 호환마마의 옛 공포스러움과 브루탈함은 이번 쿤디판다와 STXXCH의 앨범의 키 포인트로 착안 되었다.

우선 두 아티스트의 개성이 적절하게 녹아든 새로운 형태의 얼터너티브 힙합 음악이다. 앨범은 STXXCH 특유의 샘플링 방법 및 이펙팅이 된 금속적인 작법과 쿤디판다의 총괄 디렉팅 방식이 맞물려 전례 없는 시너지를 자아낸다. 노이즈 기반으로 진행이 되는 첫 트랙을 시작으로, 베이스가 강렬한 하우스 뮤직과 트랩 장르까지, 이 앨범은 적재적소로 필요한 요소들을 모든 음악 장르에서 조금씩 가져오되, 그럼에도 '힙합 뮤직'의 야성적 본질을 유지한다. 사운드스케이프는 변화에 맞춰 때로는 냉정하다가도 분노와 슬픔 같이 복잡미묘한 마음을 잘 풀어냈다. 노골적으로 표현되는 가사 역시 그들을 알다가도 모르게 하는 공포심을 자아내고, 앨범 전반적으로 깔려있는 음산한 프로덕션은 basegod을 자칭하는 둘에게 걸맞는 테마로 흡사 옛날 공포영화의 느낌도 자아내며, 마지막 트랙 ANTI II가 끝날 땐 영화의 시원한 여운을 남겨주는 착각을 하게 한다. 이 앨범은 이름 그대로 호환마마 만큼 무서울 정도로 좋은 전율을 줄 것이다.
