LOVE IS marks On_poem’s first new release in two years. Built on the repetition of just two chords, the track creates a subtle tension where the raw timbre of her voice contrasts with the mournful yet powerful presence of the saxophone. Collaborating with UK musicians she met in Liverpool, On_poem channels the city’s raw, band-driven energy into her own sound. Inspired by Tolstoy’s What Men Live By, the song delves into the fundamental question of “what is love?” Her music does not provide answers, but instead poses questions, opening a contemplative space for listeners. ....
